Marissa Harper, Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, Zone 2, attended the PBA’s Young Lawyer Summer Summit held in State College.  The Young Lawyers Division Summer Summit is the annual legal conference planned by young lawyers for young lawyers.  It provides interesting, helpful and affordable CLE programs geared toward young lawyers.  Marissa also had the opportunity meet other Young Lawyers Division colleagues from across Pennsylvania.

Included in the CLE sessions was “Facility Dogs: Man’s Best Friend Meets the Courthouse”.  The panel discussed how dogs are trained, how they are brought into courthouses, who they work with and other interesting facts about this growing program.  Several of those trained facility dogs were in attendance.
